[The camera feed logs in to a rather nice setting, despite the fact there has been snow lately. America and Luna have made a pretty good meal, despite only having limited supplies, and are currently celebrating one of America's favourite holidays: Thanksgiving.

America lets the camera zoom in on him first, grinning and waving frantically at the screen for a moment.] Hey everyone! [He pauses for a moment, just to curb his enthusiasm a little.] And Happy Thanksgiving!

[He's aware a lot of the people here won't know what it is, but the title says enough, really. He has to hand his gear over to Luna though (or rather, just let it drop) as he's pounced on by multiple puppies (well, a Growlithe, Shinx and Houndour) that hatched just a day or so ago - which leads to just lots of laughing and general happiness.]

[Putting a hand over her mouth to try and hide her laughter, Luna picks up the gear and gives a happy smile to everyone. She's still not exactly sure what Thanksgiving is, but she's clearly enjoying herself nonetheless.]

Indeed! We implore everyone to have a merry day of "Thanks"-giving! Tis a day of merriment and... good food?

[She gives a wary glance towards the turkey and ham. As, well, a pony she's not used to eating meat. But hey, there's a first time for everything, right? And what a better day to try than Thanksgiving?]

Being in this world is a bit of adventure, is it not? We have to admit... this adventure is much better than our last.

[Aww, that's nice though so he laughs along with her.]

Yes it is! Though I guess I have to agree with that.

Even if we are forced to learn things over again, we suppose it's nice to have an adventure that's a bit more... tame.

Yeah... I guess that makes sense. Let me know if everything gets too much though, okay?

We must learn how this world operates, whither or not it is overwhelming!

[He laughs at that.]

I meant so you can take a break from it, more than anything.

[She gives a shrug. She's probably a little too eager to prove herself.]

Well usually people take a few years learning about everything, so.

[Which is why he's a little worried she's over doing it...]

We hath been alive for thousands of years. We are certain we can understand how the world operates in a decent amount of time.

Yeah, but so have France and England, and it still took them forever to learn much about space, y'know? S'why I'm saying to not push yourself too much.

That may be. However, we control the moons and the stars. If we do not understand that which we control....

I guess it'd be disappointing for you, huh?

Tis not merely disappointing. Tis disorienting. We are used to waking up every night to raise the moon, and lowering it every morning. There is no need for that in this world. Tis enough to make one feel... useless.

Would it help to sort of... act it out instead? I mean, I know it's not the same but...

Well I wasn't sure if you had to do a ritual for it... so if you did, it might make it feel more... right?

[England's weird magic had that, didn't it? He never really looked into it that much so...]

[She gives a bit of a laugh.]

We use magic to raise the moon each night. Even if we were to to though the motions...

[...Although, she's kind of considering it now, though.]

[He looks a bit nervous, as he doesn't really get the whole magic thing but-]

I guess it's a bit more instantaneous than over here though? But still, you could at least make some sort of ritual to feel as though you're taking part. I wouldn't mind stopping for that if you wanted it.

[He chews his lip for a moment before laughing, he really can't say that he misses his gun. He doubts that'll sit well with her or the authorities.]

I guess all that's going to help that is seeing people I know, y'know? I don't really have much back home.

Maybe when I settle down somewhere I can get back to inventing stuff but...
