[2] Joint Post with Luna - Route 30 [Video/Action]

[The camera feed logs in to a rather nice setting, despite the fact there has been snow lately. America and Luna have made a pretty good meal, despite only having limited supplies, and are currently celebrating one of America's favourite holidays: Thanksgiving.

America lets the camera zoom in on him first, grinning and waving frantically at the screen for a moment.] Hey everyone! [He pauses for a moment, just to curb his enthusiasm a little.] And Happy Thanksgiving!

[He's aware a lot of the people here won't know what it is, but the title says enough, really. He has to hand his gear over to Luna though (or rather, just let it drop) as he's pounced on by multiple puppies (well, a Growlithe, Shinx and Houndour) that hatched just a day or so ago - which leads to just lots of laughing and general happiness.]

[Putting a hand over her mouth to try and hide her laughter, Luna picks up the gear and gives a happy smile to everyone. She's still not exactly sure what Thanksgiving is, but she's clearly enjoying herself nonetheless.]

Indeed! We implore everyone to have a merry day of "Thanks"-giving! Tis a day of merriment and... good food?

[She gives a wary glance towards the turkey and ham. As, well, a pony she's not used to eating meat. But hey, there's a first time for everything, right? And what a better day to try than Thanksgiving?]

Battle? Tis how we are supposed to gain these badges from the gym leaders, correct?

[She looks around for her Gastly, who was not present at the moment. As opposed as she was to animals fighting... if was the only means to an end.]

Tis quite the opposite. Magic can be quite dangerous, especially if put into the wrong hands.

[...And yes, she's speaking from experience.

Yeah, yeah that's it. [He's secretly kind of glad Gastly isn't there to be honest, it means he won't be freaking out so much.

I just meant less violent in thinking... you don't get blood all over the place. I guess. [In particular, Kennedy's death is forever going to be imprinted in his mind, as well as Lincoln's. If only because he saw it all there and then etc.]

It guess magic works more like the bombs do or something. It's larger damage, but you don't see the ins and outs of it or something. I might be wrong though, obviously.

[He smiles, though it's pretty obvious he's forcing a lot of that up.]

[Oh, don't worry. She'll show up sooner or later~]

[Luna's not even bothering to smile, looking down at her hands.]

In a way, thou ist correct. If thou is using magic on a wide scale, each individual damage ist impossible to see or even comprehend.

However... tis more than possible to use large amounts of magic against one pony. Even a being as powerful as Celestia ...or even myself, are not immune to bleeding, bruises and exhaustion. Magic is not only able to do damage physically, but mentally as well. Tis a horrible, horrible thing when used incorrectly.

[WHAT WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING CONVERSATION THEY ARE HAVING.]

[Oh dear... though yeah, it's kind of awkward, which is why America leans sideways a little to knock their shoulders together.]

I guess we all have things that create absolute destruction.

[He lets out an actual weak laugh and tries to brush the whole conversation off.]

They don't seem to have anything like that here though.

[It sort of makes sense too though - welcome to the REAL WORLD OF THANKSGIVING, LUNA.]

[Luna gives a bit of a start when their shoulders unexpectedly bump together. She raises her head to look at him and is pretty quick to latch onto the topic change.]

Indeed. If the only thing fort us to worry about in this world is battling Pokemon, we would be quick to determine this world as peaceful.

[He didn't really intend to startle her, but... keeping on with that was only going to make both of them down.]

Yeah, we should probably get you some new Pokemon soon as well, if you'd like?

[America's doing pretty well already, but he's familiar with so much already so.]

[Oh, no. She's glad he managed to change the topic. They were only going to spiral down from there.]

Oh, yes! We are certain we would need more Pokemon in order to accomplish anything in this world.

[She starts to look around for her Ghastly.]

[They were, so this is good.]

Yup, exactly! We're given 5 Pokeballs to use in the beginning, so you should still have those.

[Though that... Pokemon. Thinking of it creeps him out a little.]

[She gives a nod.]

[She gives a frown, though she's not as surprised as she should have been.]

We art certain she will show up at the least opportune moment.

[~~Just like Celestia... if she had not shown up when she did, the night would be eternal...~~ She shakes her head to rid these thoughts.]

[America nods at that.]

Yeah, I can show you how to use them anyway.

[He laughs nervously about that.] I guess Ghost Pokemon are like that... you can recall them into the Pokeball when they're near though?

[Goodness, Alfred. She really is going to have to do something in order to repay you for all your kindness.]

We would be appreciative!

We are not sure if all Ghost Pokemon are like that, but if she truly is channeling our sister...

[She gives a bit of a laugh.]

[Nah, no way! Maybe just not judging him if something goes wrong? That'd be nice.]

[He laughs, though ohgod if your sister is that creepy---??]

[ooc: btw, I think he might end up going to Goldenrod City with her first anyway XD I realised it's only an extra like 4 days if he does so \8D/]

[Oh, no. Celestia's not as creepy looking as a Ghastly. Or as creepy in general. She's just a total and utter prankster. Wanna see how?

Just like how her Gastly is appearing in front of Alfred this very minute, making as ridiculious of a face as she can. Because she totally saw how he freaked out over web cam, she wants to know her reaction in person.]

As America shrieks at the sight of her and sort of... scrambles back.

[She's totally going to scold her Pokemon later for this. But for now, she cringes and covers her ears because OW. Oh GOD, Ooooow. She's quick to turn around.]

[And she's quick to see what's going on. Her Gastly is laughing so hard and so much that she's floated down to the ground, absolutely hysterical.]

[YOU SHOULD BE. Though I'm not sure when it'll be. There are hilarious plans too though maybe so idek. There are also sad plans and I just have so many plans |D]

[Sorry Luna! Ghosts just really creep him out, and he just pretty much had a HEART ATTACK. Which is why he's shaking in a corner behind a tree-]

[xDDDD Better than me, I barely have any plans at all, other than meet the other ponies at Goldenrod, xD]

[This is just the beginning of Luna's frustrations with her pet.]

[She then grabs a Pokeball because hey, she came out of one, she can go back in it! It takes her a minute, but once she does, she's quick to return her back. She then turns to Alfred, taking a few steps close to him.]

Alfred... Art thou alright?

[It's because I'm spamming ALL THE PEOPLE XD]

[Seriously. Oh dear, poor girl...

America's just. Shaking. Yeah.

He's fine. Really! O-or not. Considering his voice shakes when he talks.] I-Is she gone ag-again?

[That's a smart idea, xD I need to be more social in this game, xD]

[She moves a bit closer with a nod, acting as if he were a frightened animal.]

Indeed. We hath put her away in the pokeball. Tis no need to be frightened.

[He's still shaking a bit, but that helps a lot. Now he just looks a bit embarrassed.] It's staying there, right?

[He laughs it off... kind of anyway.] I-It's alright. Guess I should get used to her, huh?

[She gives a sympathetic smile.]

We shall try to keep her away as much as possible. We do apologize for her behavior. She's much more like our sister than we thought.]

[He's slowly getting alright again now, it's... just kind of a big... shock.]

Your sister likes to terrify people too?

[She laughs. She can't help it, really.]

Not quite as much. She does enjoy pranking and joking.
