[The camera feed logs in to a rather nice setting, despite the fact there has been snow lately. America and Luna have made a pretty good meal, despite only having limited supplies, and are currently celebrating one of America's favourite holidays: Thanksgiving.

America lets the camera zoom in on him first, grinning and waving frantically at the screen for a moment.] Hey everyone! [He pauses for a moment, just to curb his enthusiasm a little.] And Happy Thanksgiving!

[He's aware a lot of the people here won't know what it is, but the title says enough, really. He has to hand his gear over to Luna though (or rather, just let it drop) as he's pounced on by multiple puppies (well, a Growlithe, Shinx and Houndour) that hatched just a day or so ago - which leads to just lots of laughing and general happiness.]

[Putting a hand over her mouth to try and hide her laughter, Luna picks up the gear and gives a happy smile to everyone. She's still not exactly sure what Thanksgiving is, but she's clearly enjoying herself nonetheless.]

Indeed! We implore everyone to have a merry day of "Thanks"-giving! Tis a day of merriment and... good food?

[She gives a wary glance towards the turkey and ham. As, well, a pony she's not used to eating meat. But hey, there's a first time for everything, right? And what a better day to try than Thanksgiving?]

If he gets ill, the whole rest of the world tends to follow.

[She frowns, a bit confused.]

Pray tell... how doth that work?

[Ah, perhaps it wasn't best of him to speak about it but... he feels less reason to be so cautious these days.]

A lot of it is probably his to tell you. But suffice to say, what he does travels and affects everyone. He's influential in that way, I suppose.

[She gives a nod.]

We understand. We shall try our best to keep an eye on him, then.

My thanks again. He... he isn't a bad person. Just naive at times.

Sometimes naivety is not such a bad trait to have.

It is for us. Naivety gets us into trouble and... Ah, listen to me. You aren';t interested in the ramblings of an old man. Enjoy your meal.

[She gives a laugh.]

We doubt thou could be much older than us.

[He looks at her curiously.]

I'm hardly one to judge by appearances, I admit. I'm about two thousand years old, give or take.

[She gives a nod.]

We admit, tis about the same for us.

I see. It is nice to meet someone who can appreciate that age.

[I'm actually guessing Luna's about two thousand and a half. *shrugs*]

Indeed. There are not many who can successfully say they've lived through over two centuries.

[sounds reasonable!]

Indeed not. Our kind are genuinely long-lived but the younger years are always the most precarious.

Tis the truth. We wish we could remember more of our childhood than we do.

It's hard sometimes to remember so far back. I... sympathise.

But sometimes it tis for the best. Things are a lot better now than they were then.

That... no, I'm not sure I can agree. Not at the moment. Things were simpler then. Now the world has become so very small.

We are afraid tis quite the opposite for us. The world may be smaller... but the world has order and schedules now, instead of chaos.
