[The camera feed logs in to a rather nice setting, despite the fact there has been snow lately. America and Luna have made a pretty good meal, despite only having limited supplies, and are currently celebrating one of America's favourite holidays: Thanksgiving.

America lets the camera zoom in on him first, grinning and waving frantically at the screen for a moment.] Hey everyone! [He pauses for a moment, just to curb his enthusiasm a little.] And Happy Thanksgiving!

[He's aware a lot of the people here won't know what it is, but the title says enough, really. He has to hand his gear over to Luna though (or rather, just let it drop) as he's pounced on by multiple puppies (well, a Growlithe, Shinx and Houndour) that hatched just a day or so ago - which leads to just lots of laughing and general happiness.]

[Putting a hand over her mouth to try and hide her laughter, Luna picks up the gear and gives a happy smile to everyone. She's still not exactly sure what Thanksgiving is, but she's clearly enjoying herself nonetheless.]

Indeed! We implore everyone to have a merry day of "Thanks"-giving! Tis a day of merriment and... good food?

[She gives a wary glance towards the turkey and ham. As, well, a pony she's not used to eating meat. But hey, there's a first time for everything, right? And what a better day to try than Thanksgiving?]

Shoot, I'm just pullin' your leg, Alfred. I trust ya! I'm just glad the two of you became friends. It makes travelin' much easier.

Haha, if you say so! Though me too, we keep having talks about space and stuff which is amazing!

Can't say I know too much about it, other than Celestia bein' in charge of raisin' the sun, an' Luna raisin' the moon. I still don't get how they just do it on their own here. It's just odd, I reckon.

Yeah, I taught Luna a little about how it works here, so if you're ever interested enough I could try to explain! I love it!

Sure! [He takes a deep breath, hopefully he won't confuse her too much.] Basically, on Earth - or at least I think Johto's like Earth - the planet it tilted on an axis. The planet spins around over the course of one day.

You following?

On it's side? What in tarnation could have knocked it over then?

[Translation: No.]

[Ohhhh, this is going to take a while again- America laughs faintly]

Ah, no, it's just tilted a little. The axis are just tilted a little, as it helps get more variation of which areas get daylight throughout the day and the seasons.

So... instead of the sun an' moon bein' raised, the Earth's just tilted, an' spins?

Actually, this is where it gets complicated. The sun doesn't move at all. There are 9... uh 8 planets in what we call the Solar System, which all orbit the sun. The sun is the centre of this Solar System.

[He bites his lip.] The moon, on the other hand, orbits Earth.

It...what?

[You can practically smell the apples frying in her head.]

[Mmm delicious apples-]

Uh, yeah. The sun doesn't move, the Earth and moon does. Each planet tends to have it's own moon too. Jupiter even has over 46 moons.

[He looks sheepish.] A lot to take in, huh?

Y-yeah. A whole lot.

[Honestly, she was happy with the sun and the moon and the stars. But this is crazy!]

Science tends to matter here more than... [He pauses, he knows how angry and annoyed Luna keeps getting at him for this, but-] magic here. So.

That's a shame. I reckon things are a lot simpler back home when it's all pony power an' magic.

Yeah, it does sound like magic makes it all easier.
