Ah, no! Actually, you can catch a Pdgey [He points to the small bird that's been sort of trailing them - it's just much more timid than the puppies or Wailmer and likes to keep to itself] and when it evolves twice, it becomes a huge bird that you can ride.

They're pretty easy to catch and really common!
